Data engineer (senior) - Nykredit

You will join our Credit and ESG tech team at Nykredit Bank company to build and maintain data solutions in Credit and ESG area. The team consists of 8 employees from Poland and Denmark who work as Data engineers, Data analysts and a Business analyst.

Your direct manager will be Marcin Grabowski .

Primary tasks and responsibilities include:

• Participating in BI projects as an ETL Developer/ Data Engineer
• Designing and implementing ETL processes
• Optimizing data loading into the DWH
• Other tasks related to the role
• Close collaboration with Data Analysts

To succeed you will have:

• Advanced SQL knowledge (Oracle preferred)
• 5 or more years of experience in creating ETL solutions
• 2 or more years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter
• Communicative level of English (min. B2)
• Commercial experience in Data Warehousing

It’s nice-to-have:

• An educational background (university degree) related to the position (Computer Technology/Mathematics/Physics/Finance/Banking)
• Experience working with the Data Vault concept
• Experience in data modelling technologies
• Knowledge of the Azure cloud, Informatica IDMC, Databricks and/or Python
• Experience in using AI tools as Data Engineer
