Requirements

  • Minimum 2.1 BSc degree from a top tier university in Computer Science or a similar technical/scientific discipline
  • Minimum A A B grades at A-level
  • Commercial Data Engineering experience with a strong understanding of modern data engineering best practices
  • Experience with Databricks; Azure experience is ideal
  • Proficiency in SQL and technologies such as Apache Spark, Python, including PySpark and Pandas
  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with front office teams to understand and define their data needs
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and operation of the firms data platform
  • Analyse and automate data-related processes to streamline workflows
  • Build and maintain data pipelines from various external providers
  • Ensure seamless integration of high-quality data into the firms core platform
  • Curate and manage both internal and external datasets for analytical and operational support
  • Design and implement best-practice data models and architectures
  • Establish and enforce data standards and quality controls to maintain data integrity and reliability
