Data Engineer
Summary
Builds and maintains ETL pipelines in Python, loads data into SQL Server, writes stored procedures and reports, and creates Tableau dashboards for analytics.
Interview Type: Customer interview will be conducted in person at the customer's downtown Toronto, Canada location
Primary Technology Stack:
- Python (ETL Development)
- SQL Server (Database, Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, Query Optimization)
- REST APIs, Excel, CSV and other data sources
- Data Integration, Data Transformation and Analytics Reporting
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop ETL pipelines using Python to extract data from APIs, Excel files, databases, and other source systems.
- Load and manage data in SQL Server databases.
- Develop and optimize Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, and SQL queries.
- Implement data transformation, validation, and business rules within SQL Server.
- Create and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across the data pipeline.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions.
- Support production deployments, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancements.
