Data Engineer building a data catalogue: designing the catalogue data model and pipelines to ingest, transform, and enrich metadata from internal sources, integrating with data quality, search, and ontology services using Python and SQL. Hybrid work in Kraków on a B2B contract.
Czym będziesz się zajmować?
- Design and build the catalogue data model covering domains, sub-domains, data owners, projects, sources, status and lifecycle
- Develop reliable pipelines to ingest, transform, enrich and maintain catalogue data from internal sources
- Integrate catalogue data with metadata, ontology, data quality, search and retrieval services
- Implement data quality, lineage, provenance, access and lifecycle controls
- Enable features such as browsing, semantic discovery, feedback and knowledge-health insights
- Work with analysts, data stewards, architects and engineers to agree data requirements and resolve ownership or quality issues
- Contribute to APIs, testing, monitoring and documentation for catalogue data services
Kogo poszukujemy?
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer delivering production-grade data models and pipelines
- Strong SQL and Python skills, with experience processing structured and semi-structured data
- Experience designing data models for catalogues, metadata, data governance or enterprise platforms
- Good understanding of data quality, lineage, provenance, ownership and access controls
- Experience integrating data via APIs, databases, event streams or cloud data platforms
- Strong communication skills and experience working across product, architecture and engineering teams
