A Data Engineer role focused on designing, developing and optimizing data platforms and data pipelines within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem. The mission combines cloud-native data engineering, data integration, analytics and consulting, helping organizations transform data into actionable insights while leveraging modern cloud technologies and best practices.
- Design, develop and maintain data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Build and optimize data pipelines and data integration processes
- Implement and maintain data ingestion, transformation and orchestration workflows
- Work with large datasets and support analytics and reporting initiatives
- Develop SQL and Python solutions for Data Engineering and Business Intelligence projects
- Ensure data quality, consistency and reliability across the data lifecycle
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and propose solutions
- Contribute to cloud architecture and data platform design decisions
- Support Business Intelligence and data analytics use cases
- Produce technical documentation and project deliverables
- Apply cloud and data engineering best practices
- Support continuous improvement and innovation initiatives
- Act as a consultant, providing guidance and recommendations to clients
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, trends and cloud capabilities
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform technologies
- Strong experience in Data Engineering environments
- Experience designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions
- Strong SQL knowledge
- Experience delivering Data Engineering and/or Business Intelligence projects
- Experience working with cloud-native data architectures
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
