Data Engineering Manger
La Fosse are delighted to partner with a leading international Entertainment company who are seeking a Data Engineering Manager to lead its Data Engineering function and support the evolution of a modern, AI-native data platform.
Reporting into the Head of Data, you'll work closely with senior leaders across Data Engineering, Product, Architecture, and Data Science. You'll lead the Data Engineering team, drive delivery, and ensure the platform scales to support next-generation AI-enabled analytics and intelligent application
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a Data Engineering team across Data, Analytics Engineering and BI
- Own sprint planning, delivery governance and quarterly roadmaps
- Define and improve delivery frameworks and ways of working
- Partner with Product, Architecture and Data Science teams
- Drive an AI-first culture, embedding AI into engineering and platform processes
- Ensure platform reliability, scalability and performance
- Manage vendors and key technology partnerships
- Support ML and AI initiatives and enable intelligent data products
- Coach and develop engineers, building a high-performing culture
- AWS and ELT pipelines
- Modern BI tools
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience leading Data Engineering teams
- Strong stakeholder management and delivery leadership capability
- Experience defining delivery frameworks and running workshops
- Strong understanding of modern cloud data platforms
- Exposure to AI-enabled data platforms, ML or intelligent data products
- A balance of strategic leadership and technical credibility
