Data Engineering
We are seeking a Data Engineering Leader to design, develop, and optimize the organization's data ecosystem. The role will oversee data architecture, integration, warehousing, and governance initiatives, ensuring high-quality and accessible data across the enterprise. Partnering closely with business and technology teams, the successful candidate will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making, advancing analytics capabilities, and supporting the organization's AI and innovation roadmap.
Job Responsibilities
Lead Enterprise Data Warehouse and data platform development.
Design and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using SSIS and Apache Airflow.
Develop dimensional data models and optimize SQL Server databases.
Ensure data quality, monitoring and operational support.
Support data platform modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
Collaborate with BI, Architecture, Infrastructure and Application teams.
Lead, mentor and develop Data Engineers.
Manage vendors and technical project delivery.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Min 7 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehouse, ETL Development, or a related role.
Experience working with SQL Server, ETL processes, and data integration tools such as SSIS or Apache Airflow.
Good understanding of data warehousing and data modelling concepts.
Strong SQL and problem-solving skills.
Experience supporting reporting and analytics platforms.
Exposure to cloud data technologies (e.g., Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake) is an advantage.
Experience leading projects, mentoring team members, or coordinating a small team is preferred.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with business and technology teams.
Nice to Have
Knowledge of Python or data automation tools.
Experience with Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, or Snowflake.
Experience in the financial services or regulated industry.
