Opportunity
As part of our fast‑growing Data Governance & Quality practice, we are hiring a Data Engineer to help clients unlock the full value of their data by building robust governance frameworks and optimizing data management & quality processes.
Responsibilities
- Advise and support clients on data governance best practices – implement data governance by design / shift left, embedding policies, data quality, and access controls early in the data lifecycle. Integrate governance into data pipelines and platforms using workflows, automation, CI/CD, and tools like Collibra, Purview, or custom frameworks.
- Automate the capture of technical metadata and lineage from source systems into data governance platforms such as Collibra.
- Advise and support the implementation of data quality tools such as Collibra Data Quality, Soda, Monte Carlo, or Great Expectations.
- Build maintainable data solutions – e.g. metadata pipelines, data profiling scripts, and data classification jobs.
Qualifications
- 2‑5 years of experience in data management, analytics, engineering, or BI, with an interest in data governance.
- Consulting & client engagement skills – preferred experience working with external clients or internal stakeholders to assess requirements, deliver solutions, and support change management.
- Hands‑on experience with data governance platforms – experience with Collibra or similar platforms is a plus.
- Technical proficiency – familiarity with SQL, APIs, and data integration concepts (e.g. ELT); scripting experience (Python, Groovy, Activiti/Flowable) for workflow automation is considered a plus.
