Data Integration Engineer (Banking)

Rate: up to 160 pln/h on b2b

Summary: The main function of this role is to design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows and integrate banking applications with third-party systems, ensuring data quality and compliance with banking standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using IBM Datastage and Apache Airflow.

• Design and maintain ETL workflows while ensuring data integration and security.

• Integrate banking applications with third-party systems using APIs.

• Collaborate with architecture, business, and application teams to understand banking data flows and integration requirements.

• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with banking standards.

Key Requirements:

• Strong understanding of API and integration concepts.

• Experience with REST APIs, API authentication methods, response handling, and error management.

• Advanced SQL skills.

• Proficiency in Python scripting with data-specific libraries, e.g., Pandas.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Apache Airflow.

• Hands-on experience in IBM Datastage development.

• Experience in ETL design, development, testing, and deployment.

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting.

• Good understanding of data warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling.
