We are partnering with a Tier-1 Australian banking institution undertaking a multi-year, multi-billion-dollar technology and data transformation. A key part of this programme is simplifying a complex data landscape, modernising legacy integration and building a more scalable, automated, cloud-first data environment.

We're looking for a Senior Data Integration Engineer with strong Informatica Cloud (IDMC/CDI) expertise to help turn that vision into reality.

This is an opportunity to get hands-on with enterprise-scale engineering, influence technical design and build integration solutions that support a major transformation.



🚀 What you'll be working on

Design and build

• Develop robust, scalable data integration solutions using Informatica IDMC, with a strong focus on Cloud Data Integration (CDI).
• Build reusable components, complex taskflows and standardised ingestion and processing pipelines.
• Integrate data across Azure, Snowflake, SQL Server and existing Teradata environments.

Automation and engineering excellence

• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines, Git/Bitbucket workflows and automated deployment processes.
• Establish reusable frameworks, source control standards and code quality practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, performance and engineering efficiency.

Performance and technical leadership

• Optimise complex SQL workloads and data integration processes.
• Work across Linux/Unix scripting and enterprise data environments.
• Contribute to solution design, code reviews and engineering standards while collaborating with architects, data engineers and platform leads.

🛠️ What you'll bring

We're looking for a senior practitioner who enjoys solving difficult technical problems and delivering production-grade solutions.

• Informatica IDMC/IICS: Strong hands-on experience, particularly with Cloud Data Integration (CDI).
• Cloud platforms: Experience delivering integration solutions across Microsoft Azure, with exposure to Snowflake.
• SQL and databases: Advanced SQL skills, SQL Server performance tuning and familiarity with enterprise data platforms such as Teradata.
• DevOps and automation: Practical experience with CI/CD, Git-based version control and Linux/Unix shell scripting.
• Enterprise delivery: Experience working in complex, high-governance environments, with an appreciation for data reconciliation, quality assurance and production reliability.
• Technical leadership: The ability to contribute to design decisions, review solutions and share engineering best practices.
