Data Manager/Programmer

Salary: $120,000 – $130,000 per year

Data Manager / Programmer

Remote (Australia) | Full Time

Our client is a growing Australian research and technology company seeking a technically-minded Data Manager / Programmer to help build the systems, automations and data processes that underpin its research and client projects.

This isn't a traditional data management role focused on documentation and oversight. The successful candidate will be hands-on with automation, integrations, data pipelines, AI-assisted workflows and technical problem solving.

The company is small, ambitious and highly flexible. There are no layers of management and no rigid job boundaries. If you enjoy figuring things out, building solutions and taking ownership, you'll thrive in this environment.

  • Building and improving automated data workflows

  • Designing and managing data pipelines and integrations

  • Supporting research, validation and client studies

  • Using AI tools to accelerate and improve processes

  • Creating dashboards, reports and data quality checks

  • Working with clinical and research data

  • Improving systems and identifying opportunities for automation

  • Helping establish processes, standards and best practices as the business grows
