RLGC is seeking a skilled Data Network Engineer to join its technology team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for the deployment, administration, troubleshooting, and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring stable, secure, and high-performance connectivity across business operations.

Detailed Job Description

As a Data Network Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing enterprise network environments, supporting both day-to-day operations and strategic infrastructure projects. You will work closely with technical teams and customers to design, implement, and troubleshoot network solutions while ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with routing, switching, network troubleshooting, VLAN configuration, and infrastructure support. You will also participate in network migrations, upgrades, and new deployments, helping maintain a resilient and scalable networking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure.
• Install, configure, and support network switches, routers, and related devices.
• Manage and troubleshoot VLANs, LAN, WAN, and TCP/IP-based networks.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify service issues.
• Investigate and resolve connectivity and infrastructure-related incidents.
• Support network implementation, migration, and upgrade projects.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain network documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Work closely with customers, vendors, and technical teams to ensure service quality.
• Support network security and infrastructure best practices.
• Ensure network availability, stability, and performance objectives are achieved.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Data Networking.
• Practical experience working with enterprise switches and routers.
• Solid knowledge of Routing and Switching technologies.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting VLANs.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with LAN and WAN environments.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills.
• Experience supporting network implementations and migrations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while supporting team objectives.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Extreme Networks solutions.
• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Knowledge of network monitoring and management tools.
• Familiarity with wireless networking technologies.
• Network certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Extreme Networks, or equivalent.
