Data Platform Developer with GCP

We are looking for a Data Platform Engineer with a strong software engineering background to help design, build and operate a corporate analytics platform. You will contribute to scalable and resilient data and AI solutions while supporting reliable platform operations aligned with business needs.

The Analytics Platform is being developed to turn data and AI assets into business value at scale. You will work on a corporate digital analytics platform with capabilities comparable to large scale analytics environments, using a software engineering approach combined with data engineering practices.

• Design the corporate digital analytics data platform
• Build the corporate digital analytics data platform
• Maintain the corporate digital analytics data platform
• Operate the corporate digital analytics data platform
• Architect scalable and resilient high performance solutions for high volume and high transaction data
• Develop ingestion transformation and load pipelines for batch and streaming workloads
• Maintain ingestion transformation and load pipelines for batch and streaming workloads
• Apply data modeling and SQL transformations for analytics workloads
• Manage partitioning for performance and cost optimization
• Implement data governance cataloging lineage and access controls
• Define CI/CD standards for data and AI solutions
• Follow CI/CD standards for data and AI solutions
• Apply software engineering best practices in platform development
• Identify platform limitations and propose scalable solutions
• Gather requirements from technical and business stakeholders

• Experience in data engineering or data platform roles with a strong software engineering foundation
• Software design and architecture skills beyond pipeline authoring
• Experience with high volume and high transaction data platforms
• SQL knowledge
• Experience with Python Java or Scala
• Experience with Pandas for data processing
• Experience with pipeline orchestration including DAGs and Dataform
• Experience with data modeling
• Experience with the GCP data stack including BigQuery partitioning lakehouse warehouse storage and streaming
• Experience with data governance cataloging and cost and performance optimization
• Experience with cloud architecture CI/CD infrastructure as code and containers
• Ability to work consultatively with technical and business stakeholders
• Agile experience
• Fluency in Spanish
