Data Science & Business Intelligence Sr II

Primary Purpose
Leads development of sophisticated data solutions and ensures alignment with organizational priorities. Shapes analytical approaches that drive efficiency and enable informed decision-making.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops and refines machine learning models for improving reliability, prediction capability, and preventive maintenance of critical infrastructure.
• Monitors data quality and implements improvement initiatives to enhance data accuracy and reliability.
• Translates business challenges and opportunities into project ideas, manages data science projects, collaborates with leadership for deploying models at scale, and ensures timely deliverables with high quality.
• Conducts in-depth exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing actionable insights to business units.
• Facilitates cross-departmental collaboration to leverage data insights for strategic planning and operational improvements.
• Explores and prototypes emerging data science techniques and tools to assess their applicability to current business challenges.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
