Senior Data Scientist on a 6-month contract (extendable) in Stockholm, on-site 3-4 days/week. Works across the full ML lifecycle - exploring data, building, deploying, and monitoring ML and LLM/RAG solutions in production - using Python, SQL, MLOps/CI/CD, and cloud platforms (GCP preferred).

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with a strong foundation in machine learning, statistics, and modern AI technologies. In this role, you will work across the full lifecycle of data science initiatives, from exploring and preparing data to developing, deploying, and monitoring machine learning and LLM-based solutions in production environments.
You enjoy turning complex data into business value and are comfortable working closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities, validate hypotheses, and deliver data-driven insights and AI solutions.
Required experience and skills:
5+ years of experience working as a Data Scientist or within Applied Machine Learning
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
Strong theoretical and practical understanding of statistics, machine learning, and predictive analytics
Proven experience developing, validating, and deploying machine learning models in production environments
Hands-on experience with MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based platforms, preferably GCP
Strong SQL skills and experience working with large and complex datasets
Ability to analyse, transform, and combine data from multiple sources to create scalable data solutions
Experience working with vector databases, embeddings, and modern retrieval architectures
Familiarity with DBT or similar data transformation tools
Hands-on experience building AI, ML, and LLM-based applications, including RAG solutions, retrieval pipelines, and prompt engineering
Strong Python skills and experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, or similar
Previous experience leading data science or AI initiatives and managing stakeholders across business and technology teams
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex analytical and AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
