Data Scientist I
Summary
Build and maintain ML models for pricing, credit, collections, and fraud prevention using Python and SQL, collaborating with business teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Data Science team and business areas to develop analytical solutions that generate real impact
- Actively participate in building and evolving predictive indicators, machine learning models, and AI applications for pricing, credit, collection, and fraud prevention
- Support continuous monitoring and evolution of production solutions to ensure they meet stakeholder needs
- Collaborate with different areas to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions
- Maintain organization of routines and documentation for proposed solutions
Requirements
- Strong conceptual and practical foundation in statistics and Machine Learning algorithms
- Technical fluency in Python and SQL
- Strong analytical capacity and intellectual curiosity
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Proactive and organized profile with a high willingness to learn
Preferred Qualifications
- Academic or professional experience in Data Science or Machine Learning projects
- Mastery of Python data ecosystem libraries
- Familiarity with Git version control
- Experience with Cloud Computing environments
- Interest or experience in Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Knowledge of financial/operational topics such as credit, fraud, pricing, supply chain, or logistics
