What you'll do
- Lead project scoping and translate business requirements into technical specifications for various stakeholders.
- Design, build, and optimize machine learning and AI solutions with a focus on scalability and performance.
- Architect cloud-based data pipelines and MLOps workflows to improve operational efficiency.
- Deploy models into production environments and establish monitoring and maintenance protocols.
- Implement responsible AI practices to mitigate ethical and governance risks.
- Collaborate with peers to improve team processes and share technical knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Quantitative Social Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in data science or the public sector.
- Ability to translate business use cases into analytical problems and identify necessary data sources.
- Proficiency in scripting for data preparation, analysis, and modern programming methodologies.
- Skill in cleaning and correcting structured and unstructured data anomalies.
- Experience applying statistical methodologies to extract insights from datasets.
- Capability to build machine learning models for pattern recognition and predictive tasks.
- Proficiency in data visualization, ranging from standalone charts to integrated real-time dashboards.
- Ability to communicate complex analytical results as actionable business recommendations.
