Summary
Data Science Consultant on a rolling contract for a long-term client project, hybrid with 1 day/week onsite in Makati. Day to day: build and deploy machine learning and predictive models, work with data pipelines and large datasets, and translate business problems into data-driven solutions using Python, SQL, Spark, Azure/AWS, and BI tools like Power BI/Tableau.

We’re looking for an experienced Data Science Consultant to join a long-term project, working on data-driven solutions that solve complex business challenges and deliver measurable impact.
The role will suit someone with strong hands-on experience in machine learning, predictive modelling, advanced analytics, and data engineering, combined with the ability to engage stakeholders and translate business problems into practical data science solutions.
What we’re looking for:
- 4+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, or a related field
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL
- Experience developing and deploying machine learning and predictive models
- Strong knowledge of regression, classification, clustering, forecasting, recommender systems, and statistical modelling
- Experience building and working with data pipelines and large datasets
- Exposure to Azure and/or AWS
- Experience with Apache Spark or similar distributed processing technologies
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualisation tools
- Understanding of the end-to-end ML lifecycle, including model development, validation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and data storytelling skills
Experience within banking or financial services, particularly across credit risk, financial crime, fraud, collections, or customer analytics, would be highly advantageous.
