Summary
Build and deploy ML/AI models and time-series analyses to optimize Vaillant Group’s products and operations using Python and Azure.

- In this role, you will translate business requirements into analytical use cases (machine learning / time series analysis) and drive innovation and efficiency across the Vaillant Group.
- You will effectively analyze business use cases regarding feasibility and effort estimation based on the Vaillant data model, including data quality and necessary preprocessing steps.
- You will apply state-of-the-art machine learning and AI techniques and advanced statistical methods to achieve company goals.
- In addition, you will critically evaluate ML/AI solutions and analyses using metrics to validate the achievement of business objectives and recommend improvements.
- You will communicate results with cross-functional project members and stakeholders, using clear presentations and understandable visualizations of insights.
- Finally, you will utilize cloud services and self-programmed (Python) applications to develop production-ready AI/ML solutions.
What makes us successful together
- Qualification: You have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Bioinformatics, or other quantitative fields with AI/ML relation.
- Experience: You bring 4+ years of professional experience in the field of Data Science/Data Analytics with a proven track record in Data Science projects.
- Know-how and skills:
- Experience in working with large-scale datasets including a solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, model development, and evaluation. You have a good understanding of time series analysis.
- You have excellent programming skills in Python.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and their Data Science-related components (databricks or Spark would be a plus).
- Personality: You are a team player, curious and analytically strong, with initiative and motivation to work in an agile and interdisciplinary environment.
- Language skills: You are fluent in English; German language skills would be a plus.
