DBA Architect
Location: Pakistan
Experience: 7 - 10 Years
Responsibilities
- Design, administer, and optimize enterprise database environments.
- Ensure database availability, performance, security, and reliability.
- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
- Perform database performance tuning and query optimization.
- Implement database security controls and access management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues.
- Support database migration, modernization, and integration initiatives.
- Collaborate with Data Architects, Data Engineers, and Application Teams.
Required Skills
- 7-10 years of Database Administration and Database Architecture experience.
- Strong expertise in SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Hands-on experience with HA/DR, backup & recovery, replication, and performance tuning.
- Experience in database monitoring, security, and capacity planning.
- Strong SQL and scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Shell Script).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Mandatory Technology Requirement
Candidates must have hands-on experience in at least one of the following:
- Informatica IDMC (Intelligent Data Management Cloud)
- Microsoft Fabric with Purview
- Databricks
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Microsoft, Oracle, Informatica, Azure, or Databricks certifications.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is an added advantage.
