Dealer Application Support Analyst
Description
Fuso Australia sells and supports light, medium and heavy trucks through a national dealer network, working with customers ranging from owner-operators through to large fleets.
Fuso Australia is building a new in-house IT capability, creating an exciting opportunity for an experienced Application Support Analyst to join the business at an important stage of growth.
This isn’t a traditional helpdesk role. You’ll work directly with our dealer network and internal teams to resolve application, data and integration issues across business-critical systems supporting Parts, Vehicles, Aftersales and Warranty.
The opportunity
As our Dealer Application Support Analyst, you will be the go-to IT contact for Fuso dealers and internal teams across Parts, Vehicles, Aftersales and Warranty.
Providing level 2 and level 3 application support, you will resolve issues across the systems dealers and business teams use every day. You will work directly with dealer personnel, internal stakeholders, external vendors and overseas teams, without an outsourced helpdesk sitting between you and the user.
This is a hands-on role where your ability to understand business applications, investigate data issues and communicate clearly will have a direct impact on dealer experience and operational performance.
What you will do
Resolve level 2 and level 3 application support requests for dealers and internal teams through phone, email and Microsoft Teams.
Manage user accounts, single sign-on access and permissions across dealer-facing applications.
Troubleshoot vehicle ordering, logistics and integration issues involving dealer management systems, factory systems and logistics partners.
Support warranty claims and service-plan systems, including policy configuration and data issues.
Provide support across parts applications, online parts sales, stock locators and dealer stock-file feeds.
Coordinate dealer onboarding and system go-lives, from initial access setup through to first-week support.
Raise, track and follow up issues with vendors and overseas teams through to resolution.
Document solutions, known issues and support processes to build team capability.
Follow Fuso Australia’s safety, quality and compliance standards.
What you will bring
At least three years’ experience in application or IT support at level 2 or above.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting business applications and data issues.
Working knowledge of basic SQL.
Experience supporting system integrations, file interfaces or electronic data interchange between business systems.
Confidence using ticketing platforms, Microsoft 365 and identity-management tools such as Microsoft Entra ID.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to business and dealer users.
A practical, accountable approach to investigating problems and following them through to resolution.
Unrestricted Australian working rights.
Experience in automotive, commercial vehicles or a dealer-network environment would be advantageous. Exposure to dealer management systems such as Excede, Pentana or Autoline, or platforms including Salesforce, Power Apps, SAP or Optimizely, would also be well regarded.
Why join Fuso Australia?
This is an opportunity to join a growing in-house capability rather than step into a traditional outsourced support environment. You will have direct contact with the people using the applications, visibility of how technology supports the wider business, and the opportunity to help shape practical support processes as the team develops.
For someone who enjoys solving application and data issues, building trusted relationships and seeing the operational impact of their work, this role offers both immediate responsibility and longer-term scope to grow.
