Role Overview:

As a Customer Delivery and Collection Driver, you will ensure the safe and timely delivery and collection of goods, serving as a crucial link between our company and our customers.

Working 8 hr shift Saturday - Wednesday, early start time at weekend.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Driving: Operate company vehicles safely, following all traffic laws and ensuring the safety of transported goods and road users.
• Delivery and Collection: Deliver and collect products accurately and on time, following established procedures.
• Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
• Route Planning: Optimize delivery routes to maximize productivity and minimize transit time.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine checks and report maintenance needs.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and incidents, completing all necessary paperwork.

General Responsibilities:

• Health & Safety Compliance: Follow and promote company health and safety protocols.
• Incident Management: Investigate and report accidents, implementing control measures and advising on PPE standards.
• Performance Management: Engage in open conversations with your manager and seek constructive feedback.
• Confidentiality: Protect the organization by adhering to confidentiality standards.

  Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid driver’s license for the appropriate vehicle class.
  • Driver’s CPC/Tacho card for 7.5-ton vehicles.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with local roads and areas of operation.

  Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a similar driving or delivery role is preferred.

  Working Conditions:

  • Frequent driving and extended periods on the road.
  • Lifting and moving heavy items.
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions.
