Delivery Consultant | Queensland Government Technology Recruitment
As demand for specialist ICT talent continues to grow across Queensland Government, we are looking for a Delivery Consultant (3 days per week) to work alongside our Queensland Government Account Manager and play a critical role in identifying, engaging and managing exceptional technology professionals.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced candidate manager/ recruiter seeking a flexible part-time role while remaining connected to some of Queensland's most significant technology and digital transformation programs.
The Role
This is a candidate-focused recruitment role where your primary responsibility will be the delivery of talent to Queensland Government clients.
Working closely with our dedicated Queensland Government Account Manager, you will be responsible for building talent pipelines, sourcing high-calibre ICT professionals, managing candidate relationships and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle. The Queensland Government Account Manager leads stakeholder relationships and workforce planning, while you focus on securing and managing the best available talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and identify ICT professionals across contract, temporary and fixed-term opportunities
- Build and maintain talent communities across AI, cyber security, cloud, data, ERP, digital delivery and infrastructure
- Conduct candidate screening, qualification and reference checks
- Manage candidate engagement throughout the recruitment process
- Present high-quality candidate summaries and market intelligence to the Account Manager
- Maintain proactive talent pipelines for current and future government opportunities
- Support contractor onboarding, compliance and mobilisation activities
- Build lasting relationships with technology professionals across Queensland
- Keep candidate records, activity and market intelligence up to date within CRM systems
- Collaborate with the Queensland Government Account Manager to deliver outstanding recruitment outcomes
You may already be working in recruitment, talent acquisition, candidate management or ICT sourcing and are looking to develop your career within a specialist technology environment.
You will ideally have:
- Previous recruitment, sourcing or talent acquisition experience
- Strong candidate engagement and relationship management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive and resilient approach
- Interest in technology, digital transformation and the government sector
