We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to join a large, complex technology transformation programme.
This role will work closely with two existing Delivery Leads, helping bring multiple plans and workstreams together into a clear, integrated programme plan.
You’ll provide visibility across delivery, dependencies and critical pathways, helping the programme understand where risks and pressure points sit and what needs to happen to keep delivery on track.
What you’ll be doing
- Work alongside two Delivery Leads to bring multiple delivery plans together into one integrated programme view.
- Own and maintain the end-to-end integrated delivery plan across all project phases.
- Undertake critical pathway analysis and identify key dependencies, constraints and impacts across the programme.
- Manage multiple internal and external dependencies and competing priorities.
- Identify schedule risks and slippage early and develop practical recovery options.
- Provide clear delivery forecasts and confidence around key milestones and dates.
- Support re-baselining and change requests where required.
- Provide regular schedule variance and delivery reporting.
- Work across multiple teams with different priorities and delivery styles.
- Build strong relationships and manage challenging conversations and conflict constructively.
- Confidently challenge assumptions, priorities and timelines when required.
- Work with senior stakeholders to resolve issues and keep delivery moving.
- Strong Delivery Manager experience within banking or financial services.
- Payments experience is essential, ideally within cards, transaction switching or payment processing.
- Experience delivering large and complex technology transformation programmes.
- Strong experience bringing multiple project and workstream plans together into an integrated programme plan.
- Strong critical pathway analysis, dependency management and delivery planning capability.
- Advanced Jira skills, particularly around programme planning, dependencies and delivery visibility.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including executive-level engagement.
- High EQ, with the ability to influence, build relationships and manage conflict constructively.
- Comfortable working alongside other Delivery Leads and bringing different delivery approaches together.
- Confident making tough calls and challenging delivery dates when required.
