Demo Enablement Architect

Summary

The Demo Enablement Architect will design and manage technical demonstration strategies and training for the global Solutions Engineering team at Verkada. This role involves collaborating with product and IT teams to create value-driven demo content and utilizing AI-powered platforms to coach SEs on delivery and performance.

Who We Are

Verkada is transforming how organizations protect their people and places with an integrated, privacy-sensitive AI-powered platform that includes solutions for video security, access control, air quality sensors, alarms, intercoms, and visitor management.

We’ve got serious momentum in the market: more than 30,000 customers (including 100+ of the Fortune 500), a $5.8B valuation, more than $1 billion in annualized bookings, and backing from CapitalG, Sequoia Capital, General Catalyst, Felicis Ventures, Next47 and more. Physical AI is one of the most consequential technology shifts of our time, and Verkada is at the center of it.

You can look at all kinds of communities to see our platform’s impact in the world. It's the retailer that uses our agentic AI to deter theft before it happens. The warehouse that uses AI-powered alerts to make sure its team is protected on the floor with proper PPE. The school that’s alerted to a threat in real-time and triggers a lockdown in seconds, not minutes. We’re rapidly scaling this impact: today, more than 2 million Verkada devices are deployed across 170+ countries.

About the Role

As a Demo Enablement Architect on the Solutions Engineering (SE) Enablement team, you will drive the narrative strategy, content creation, and delivery mastery for technical demonstrations across the global SE organization. In this role, you will bridge Product Management and field execution, turning product updates into compelling, value-driven demo workflows. Working alongside technical lab teams, IT, and sales leadership, you will elevate how SEs articulate product value—combining methodology coaching with innovative AI practice platforms to scale demo excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Demo Strategy & Content Creation: Partner with Product Management to identify, design, and launch new demo workflows aligned with software feature updates and New Product Introductions (NPI). Translate technical features into value-centric customer stories.
  • Infrastructure Collaboration: Work closely with the Demo Enablement Infrastructure Architect—who owns physical lab equipment design, updates, and maintenance—to ensure all demo content aligns perfectly with physical lab hardware setups and environmental topologies.
  • Methodology & Delivery Training: Enable SEs on end-to-end demo execution. Design training that elevates technical discovery, value-based storytelling, enterprise objection handling, and clear deal progression strategies.
  • Demo Analysis & One-on-One Coaching: Review real-world and simulated field demonstrations to provide constructive analysis. Deliver targeted coaching to SEs on strengths, high-impact areas for improvement, and narrative polish.
  • AI Tooling & Analytics Integration: Partner with IT to build, deploy, and refine AI-powered practice platforms. Enable SEs to asynchronously record and practice demos, receive automated scoring, and track performance metrics to uncover organizational trends and skills gaps.
  • Performance Analysis & Feedback Loop: Leverage AI tools to evaluate demo script adherence and identify effective improvisation. Incorporate successful deviations into standard scripts while providing coaching to SEs and managers when deviations negatively impact outcomes.

What You Bring

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, or Technical Enablement within enterprise SaaS, IoT, hardware, or networking.
  • Proven expertise in demo methodology, customer discovery, enterprise storytelling, and technical objection handling.
  • Track record of collaborating with Product Management to convert product roadmaps into scalable demo content and narrative guides.
  • Experience analyzing pitch quality and delivering direct, actionable coaching to technical revenue roles.
  • Familiarity with AI coaching platforms, conversation intelligence tools, or working with internal IT teams to implement automated enablement technologies.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to bridge hardware/software infrastructure teams with customer-facing reps.
