Dental Billing Specialist - LCHC Dental

DEFINITION:

The Dental Billing specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely filing of all dental insurance claims, denials,m and appeals. This position monitors patient accounts, collects and posts payments from patients and provides information to patients as needed. The Dental Billing Specialist will be responsible for monthly dental claim reporting and will assist with dental prior authorizations as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to type, computer, communication and customer service skills required.

High School graduate or greater, basic computer and secretarial skills preferred.

Knowledge of medical terminology helpful. 2 years experience in dental scheduling and treatment planning preferred
