Deputy AMLO and AML/CFT/Sanctions Analyst

You will serve as deputy Anti-Money Laundering Officer and deputy Sanctions Officer while helping build and operate the Austrian and European AML/CFT and sanctions framework. You will conduct risk assessments, monitor unusual activity, support suspicious activity reports, maintain regulatory compliance, and collaborate with legal, operational, and compliance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Deputy Anti-Money Laundering Officer
• Serve as Deputy Sanctions Officer
• Support compliance with Austrian AML/CFT and sanctions laws
• Develop and execute the AML/CFT and sanctions program
• Conduct AML/CFT and sanctions risk assessments
• Monitor and document unusual activity and AML flags
• Assist with suspicious activity reports
• Build relationships with Legal, Customer Service, Operations, and Marketing
• Conduct periodic and trigger reviews
• Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence
• Use compliance and blockchain analytics applications

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, management, law, or a related field
• 3-4 years of risk, compliance, legal, or regulatory experience
• Fluency in English and German
• AML, CFT, and sanctions law knowledge
• Austrian AML/CFT and sanctions law knowledge
• EU Anti-Money Laundering Directive knowledge
• Hands-on experience building or overhauling AML policies and compliance programs
• Crypto-asset AML typology knowledge
• Travel Rule compliance knowledge
• Blockchain analytics experience
• Risk assessment experience
• Enhanced Due Diligence experience
• Compliance application familiarity
• Strong technical communication skills
• Stakeholder liaison and influencing skills
• CAMS, ICA, or equivalent certification preferred
• MiCA regulatory experience preferred
