By joining this particular High Performance Computing (HPC) prime contract, you'll help maintain and advance the computing infrastructure that powers unprecedented mission-critical analysis, scientific discovery, and scalable national security outcomes.

Position Summary

Vibrint is seeking a highly motivated, technically experienced, and business-oriented Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (Deputy CISO) to help accelerate the growth of our cybersecurity business across the Federal Government, Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and commercial markets. Unlike a traditional Deputy CISO position focused primarily on internal security operations, this role will have a significant emphasis on cybersecurity sales, strategic partnerships, customer engagement, and revenue generation.

The Deputy CISO will work directly with Vibrint's CISO, Growth organization, Sales teams, Professional Services leadership, and technology partners to identify new opportunities, develop cybersecurity solutions, support capture activities, and drive the expansion of Vibrint's cybersecurity portfolio. The ideal candidate brings a combination of technical cybersecurity expertise, federal market experience, executive-level communication skills, and a proven ability to turn customer requirements into funded opportunities. This individual must be equally comfortable presenting a cybersecurity strategy to a federal CIO or CISO, working with OEM partners to structure a solution, and collaborating with internal teams to develop a winning technical and pricing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Cybersecurity Sales & Revenue Growth
  • Partner with the CISO and Growth leadership to develop and execute Vibrint's cybersecurity sales strategy.
  • Identify, qualify, develop, and pursue new cybersecurity opportunities across federal civilian agencies, DoD, and the Intelligence Community.
  • Serve as a technical sales executive and trusted advisor to prospective and existing customers.
  • Lead cybersecurity-focused customer meetings, capability briefings, technical demonstrations, and executive discussions.
  • Develop opportunities for Professional Services, managed security services, security engineering, and cybersecurity product sales.
  • Work with account executives and capture teams to advance qualified opportunities through the sales pipeline.
  • Translate customer security challenges into solutions with defined technical approaches, staffing requirements, implementation timelines, and estimated costs.
  • Support the development of proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), Rough Orders of Magnitude (ROMs), and pricing strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing contracts through additional cybersecurity capabilities and services.
  • Maintain accountability for assigned pipeline development, opportunity progression, and revenue objectives.
  1. Strategic OEM Partnerships & Channel Development
  • Help manage and expand Vibrint's strategic cybersecurity partnerships, including Palo Alto Networks, Microsoft, Armis, SailPoint, and other emerging security technology providers.
  • Work with OEM sales leadership, channel teams, and technical specialists to develop joint federal opportunities.
  • Coordinate joint account planning, partner-led customer engagements, and cybersecurity marketing activities.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage partner deal registration, channel incentives, and co-selling arrangements.
  • Develop repeatable service offerings that attach Vibrint Professional Services to OEM technology sales.
  • Support joint go-to-market strategies for managed security services, Zero Trust, cloud security, and AI-enabled cybersecurity.
  • Strengthen relationships with OEM federal sales teams to establish Vibrint as a preferred cybersecurity services and implementation partner.
  • Identify opportunities for teaming, subcontracting, and strategic partnerships that increase market access.
  1. Cybersecurity Solution Development & Technical Sales
  • Serve as a senior technical authority supporting cybersecurity business development and solution engineering.
  • Develop cybersecurity architectures, technical approaches, and service offerings aligned with customer requirements.
  • Support the design and positioning of solutions involving:
    • Security Operations Centers (SOC), Managed Detection and Response (MDR), and Managed Security Services (MSSP).
    • Palo Alto Networks Cortex XSIAM, XDR, and Prisma Cloud.
    • Zero Trust Architecture and Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM).
    • Cloud security across AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and hybrid environments.
    • Vulnerability management, threat hunting, incident response, and security engineering.
    • AI-enabled security operations, automation, and advanced analytics.
    • Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Risk Management Framework (RMF), and Authority to Operate (ATO) support.
  • Participate in technical discovery sessions, solution workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements.
  • Help create repeatable, scalable cybersecurity service offerings with clear pricing and delivery models.
  • Coordinate with engineering and delivery teams to validate solution feasibility, resource requirements, and implementation risks.
  • Ensure proposed cybersecurity solutions are technically credible, commercially competitive, and aligned with Vibrint's delivery capabilities.
  1. Federal Customer Engagement & Strategic Capture
  • Establish and maintain relationships with federal CIOs, CISOs, program managers, contracting organizations, and mission stakeholders.
  • Support strategic capture efforts for cybersecurity contracts, task orders, BPAs, IDIQs, and other federal acquisition vehicles.
  • Participate in industry days, conferences, executive roundtables, and cybersecurity leadership events.
  • Help position Vibrint for upcoming federal cybersecurity modernization initiatives.
  • Work with Growth and Capture teams to develop technical discriminators, win themes, and competitive positioning.
  • Identify customer mission challenges and connect them to Vibrint's technical capabilities and past performance.
  • Support oral presentations, technical evaluations, demonstrations, and proposal reviews.
  • Develop account growth strategies that support long-term customer relationships and recurring revenue.
  1. CISO Leadership & Internal Collaboration
  • Represent the CISO in designated customer meetings, partner engagements, and internal strategic discussions.
  • Provide cybersecurity technical leadership and strategic guidance to Sales, Growth, and Professional Services teams.
  • Support the CISO in developing Vibrint's cybersecurity growth roadmap and market positioning.
  • Help evaluate new cybersecurity technologies, partnerships, and potential investments.
  • Collaborate with the Professional Services organization to ensure proposed solutions can be successfully delivered.
  • Mentor cybersecurity sales engineers, solution architects, and emerging technical leaders.
  • Support internal cybersecurity initiatives when required, while maintaining primary accountability for customer-facing growth activities.
  • Provide regular reporting to the CISO on pipeline development, strategic partnerships, customer engagements, and growth initiatives.
