<h2 style="margin:6pt 0in;line-height:1;"></h2>POSITION:Fund AccountingBusiness Unit: Investment ServiceLocation: MumbaiPrincipal Accountabilities: <ul type="disc" style="font-family:DarwinSans, Roboto, sans-serif;margin-top:0cm;margin-bottom:0px;color:rgb(19,19,19);font-size:14px;"><li class="MsoNormal">Scheme accounting review and all MIS related to scheme.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Strong Trail balance control regular Trail balance review</li><li class="MsoNormal">Scheme financials -Half yearly, Annual and Abridged</li><li class="MsoNormal">Strong control over scheme expenses and various MIS pertaining to the same.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Schemes Distributable surplus - Analysis, review, regular change or highlighting to the management.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Review of NAV and scheme return.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Strong control over security valuation affecting the scheme.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Liaising with the Statutory Auditors, Internal Auditors and SEBI Auditors to ensure smooth and timely completion of audits for various departmental issues. </li><li class="MsoNormal">Implementation of new projects and changes brought because of regulatory or business requirement.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Support all new initiatives including system development.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Benchmarking similar industry practices and work towards implementation of best practise</li><li class="MsoNormal">Identifying risk and putting effective controls for various processes</li><li class="MsoNormal">Regular review and update of relevant process manuals and SLA’s</li><li class="MsoNormal">Having hold on existing SEBI mutual Funds regulations and vision on implementing the new regulation affecting fund accounting areas. </li></ul> Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Certifications:· Knowledge of NAV Calculations, Fund Accounting and Fund Expense· Valuation of Securities· MS office with special expertise in Excel, Bloomberg, and other related software· Competencies· Good communication skills, both verbal and written.· Excellent Time management and Planning skills· Good interpersonal skills· High degree of integrity· Ability to work autonomously but to know when to escalate.· Ability to perform under pressure.· Resourcefulness and ability to use initiative.· High Productivity· Commercial approach Preferred Industry Experience:· Ideally the candidate should have experience in the mutual fund space though not a pre-condition.· If not from mutual fund space, the candidate could be drawn from the financial services space including insurance, commercial & investment banks, non-banking finance companies.Attributes· To have an eye for detail is every important criterion of Fund accounting. · Able to build strong working relationships with colleagues and vendors.· Strong Team Player having a collegial attitude is very important
