Oversee large engineering projects to meet safety, quality, schedule, and budget targets while coordinating teams and clients.
Job Description
- Lead the overall project execution to ensure the process meet safety, hygiene, environmental, and quality standards while achieving schedule and budget targets.
- Develop comprehensive project execution plans (including scope, schedule, resources, milestones, and acceptance criteria) and drive their implementation.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders effectively to ensure tasks are executed according to plan.
- Maintain close communication with the client to ensure confidence in the company’s ability to fulfill the contract and to respond promptly to client needs and concerns.
- Establish and maintain clear project policies, procedures, and execution manuals as the basis for implementation and audit.
- Verify that project initiation and execution follow the project execution plan to achieve budget and quality requirements prior to the contractual completion date.
- Facilitate effective communication channels and ensure smooth coordination and interaction among functional teams.
- Authorize and approve all project expenditures and invoice/payment requests, maintaining control over cost processes.
- Monitor project progress, milestones, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) budgets; conduct regular reviews and provide concrete recommendations for improvement.
- Lead change management activities; negotiate changes, additions, or modifications with the client and ensure all deliverables meet contractual requirements.
- Identify commercial and technical project risks and implement appropriate measures to avoid, manage, and mitigate risks; develop contingency plans for unavoidable risks.
- Review and approve monthly project reports; prepare and distribute monthly status reports to the client and project team to ensure transparency and traceability.
- Provide project performance reviews and recommendations for continuous improvement to enhance future project management capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering is mandatory
- Minimum 6 years' engineering and project management experience in EPC projects
- Excellent communication, strategic decision-making, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
