Reporting within the Digital and Technology team, you will lead a team of Solution, Network, and Application Architects responsible for designing secure, scalable, and strategic technology solutions that support the delivery of SJGHC's organisational strategy. Acting as the bridge between business priorities and technology outcomes, you will translate strategic objectives into practical roadmaps, architecture plans, and governance frameworks that enable successful project delivery and operational excellence.

This position is offered on a permanent full-time basis.
Key responsibilities
Drive architecture governance, design assurance, and technology planning, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, fit for purpose, and aligned to enterprise standards and roadmaps.
Partner with business, technology, and vendor stakeholders to prioritise architecture demand, support strategic investment decisions, and deliver innovative technology outcomes across the organisation
Lead the development of architecture roadmaps, standards, and technology blueprints that guide the evolution of SJGHC's digital and application landscape.
Establish and maintain architecture frameworks, artefacts, and governance processes to ensure solutions align with enterprise principles, standards, and strategic objectives.
Drive architecture compliance and continuous improvement by leading governance forums, providing expert design guidance, and recommending solutions that enhance organisational capability and technology outcomes.
Your skills and experience
Applicants must hold Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid visa with unrestricted work rights in Australia. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline, complemented by architecture certifications such as TOGAF and a strong understanding of project delivery methodologies. They will bring extensive experience in enterprise architecture, with at least seven years in architecture roles and proven experience leading and developing teams of architects.
With broad expertise across application, cloud, infrastructure, and network architecture, the successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to develop architecture strategies, drive technology roadmaps, and deliver scalable, fit-for-purpose solutions within large, complex, multi-site organisations. They will be comfortable balancing strategic planning with operational delivery while ensuring alignment to organisational objectives.
A highly influential and collaborative leader, they will possess exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills. Flexibility to travel within Western Australia and interstate, as required, is essential.
