Design Flow Engineer - Power Integrity & Reliability Analysis

Contract Duration: 3 12 month contract
Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Interview Process: Two stages (1st online, 2nd onsite where possible)

We are seeking a Design Flow Engineer - Power Integrity & Reliability Analysis to join a leading semiconductor R&D environment in Eindhoven. This position sits within the RF-EM Design Enablement team, responsible for developing and integrating simulation flows, methodologies, and design enablement solutions that support analog and RF product development across advanced semiconductor technologies.

The successful candidate will focus on electromigration, power integrity, electrothermal analysis, reliability verification, and AI/ML-enabled design methodologies, helping ensure robust, high-performance, first-time-right silicon solutions.

This opportunity is open to experienced professionals (ideally 5+ years' experience), although strong junior candidates and recent graduates with relevant academic backgrounds will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Reliability & Power Integrity Analysis

  • Perform electromigration (EM) analysis on IC and power-device layouts.
  • Evaluate current density limits and identify potential reliability risks within metal interconnects.
  • Analyse stress-induced voiding and metal migration effects under operational conditions.
  • Conduct power integrity, current distribution, and voltage drop analysis.
  • Assess electrothermal behaviour and long-term reliability of semiconductor devices and interconnects.
  • Perform parasitic-aware verification and physical design validation.
