Design Support – Order Specialist (Clark On-site, Dayshift)

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about producing high-quality technical drawings and documentation? We're looking for a Design Support professional to assist our Australian client's design team by preparing accurate drawings, project documentation, and presentation materials that help bring fitness and playground projects to life.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Information, Drafting & Order Documentation

Prepare accurate site information, drawings, and production documentation to support projects from order processing to production. Responsibilities include:

• Cleaning up DWG and/or PDF drawings, when provided, or tracing Nearmap imagery and utilising Moasure data to create accurate site plans

• Preparing order documentation for production, including:

• HOPs (Holes on Poles).

• CSV files for the ERP system.

• Screenshots or renders for production.

• Site plans, design plans, equipment inventory and elevations drawings.

• Ensuring all drawings and documentation are accurate, complete, clearly presented, and ready for their intended purpose.

• Maintaining consistency and accuracy across all documentation to support an efficient transition from design and through to production.

2. Quoting Support

Assist the design teams by preparing the designs and presentations. Responsibilities include:

• Site plans, design plans, equipment inventory and elevations

• Developing Bills of Materials (BOMs).

• Preparing files for rendering.

• Compiling project presentation documentation, including:

• Inserting plans and renders into company presentation templates.

• Completing project-specific details within templates.

• Ensuring render colour schemes align with the relevant colour schedules.

• Maintaining consistency, accuracy, and a professional standard across all quoting documentation.

3. Continuous Improvement & Downtime Tasks

During quieter periods, contribute to improving and maintaining company resources, documentation standards, and workflows. Responsibilities include:

• Updating and maintaining standard drawings within the Vault library.

• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and accuracy across drafting and documentation workflows.

• Supporting general administrative and documentation tasks as required.

4. Key Requirements

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Experience working with DWG's and PDF drawings.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, investigate solutions, and resolve drafting or documentation challenges independently where possible.

• The ability to follow established drafting standards, procedures, and templates.

• Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• A willingness to learn company-specific systems, processes, and documentation requirements.

• The ability to work independently while communicating effectively with the local design, quoting, and production teams.

• A proactive approach to maintaining documentation quality and identifying opportunities for improvement.
