Designer (C&S)
Summary
Creates and maintains 3D BIM models for civil and structural projects using Revit and AutoCAD, coordinating with engineers and architects to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Job Responsibilities
1. Develop and manage 3D BIM models for civil and structural projects, ensuring accuracy and
compliance with project standards and specifications.
2. Work closely with engineers to gather project requirements and ensure that BIM models meet project
needs.
3. Prepare detailed drawings and documentation, including plans, sections, elevations, and details,
using BIM software such as Revit & AutoCAD.
4. Coordinate with other design disciplines (e.g. Architectural, M&E) to integrate their models into the
overall project BIM model and resolve any clashes or conflicts.
5. Conduct regular reviews and quality checks on BIM models and drawings to ensure they meet
project standards and specifications.
6. Manage and maintain all BIM-related project documentation, ensuring all files are up to date and
accessible to the project team.
7. Stay updated with the latest advancements in BIM technology and practices and explore new tools
and methodologies to improve efficiency and quality.
8. Any other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor (Director/CEO)
Qualifications:
Basic hand drafting skills
Experience utilizing Autodesk Revit modeling and AutoCAD software in a consultancy office (preferred)
Ability to read and understand architectural and structural construction documents
Graduate of a qualified technical school or program
Excellent time management skills
