DevOps/Cloud Engineer ( Intern, Jr, Grads ) (Start ASAP)
Summary
Intern/junior DevOps/Cloud Engineer at AICines managing and scaling the cloud infrastructure behind its AI video rendering platform — building CI/CD pipelines, setting up monitoring, and keeping production uptime high. Stack includes Linux and AWS/GCP; the role is fully remote with flexible hours.
Your role
As a DevOps/Cloud Engineer intern at AICines, you'll manage and scale the infrastructure behind AICines' AI video rendering - pipelines, monitoring, and uptime.
Day to day, you'll:
- Manage and scale cloud infrastructure behind AI video rendering
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Set up monitoring and keep production uptime high
- Fix real infrastructure issues as the platform grows
- Collaborate directly with founders and senior engineers on production systems
Training, development & rotations
You'll be paired with senior team members from week one and work directly on live problems rather than sandboxed exercises. Because AICines spans streaming, social product, AI generation, and film production, there's genuine scope to explore adjacent areas - infrastructure-as-code, observability, or platform reliability work - based on where your interest develops.
Salary & benefits
Compensation is benchmarked competitively for remote roles and varies by experience level. The role is fully remote with flexible working hours. You'll get hands-on exposure to production AI systems and a live platform with real users, plus direct access to founders and senior engineers.
Career progression
AICines is scaling, and progression is based on impact rather than tenure. Strong performers move into specialised DevOps/SRE tracks or broader infrastructure leadership roles as the team grows. Interns who perform well are considered for full-time positions.
