DevOPS Data Engineer (33684-1)

We are looking for a Senior/Medior hands-on Data Engineer with strong experience in building production‑grade data pipelines in a cloud environment and a solid background in data warehousing projects. The candidate should have expertise in designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines preferably Informatica or other enterprise ETL tools, as well as strong solution design and data integration skills. The candidate should be highly proficient in SQL and comfortable working with large datasets, with the ability to write complex and optimized SQL queries . Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills are also essential. Proficient in both Dutch and English, written and spoken .

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Fabric: Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric SaaS, including Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Dataflows, Pipelines, Notebooks, and Azure Data Lake Storage integration, for large‑scale data processing and transformation.
• ETL/ELT Informatica : Experience in developing, maintaining, and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter or IDMC Cloud Data Integration (CDI), including mapping development, workflow orchestration, scheduling, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Architecture : Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, data marts, data mesh principles, big data, and modern data architecture patterns, including batch and near‑real‑time processing designs.
• Programming: Strong advantage if the candidate has coding experience in Python and PySpark for data ingestion, transformation, automation, and reusable data processing frameworks.
• SQL Proficiency: Experienced in writing complex SQL queries, performing in‑depth data analysis, and optimizing query performance for scalability and efficiency across Fabric and Teradata tools .
• Data Modeling: Designing efficient data models and structures across dimensional models, star and snowflake schemas, and Lakehouse architectures, including fact/dimension design and data normalization/denormalization principles.
• CI/CD : Nice to have experience with GIT hub and Azure DevOps for CI/CD

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and workflows to support efficient ETL/ELT processes.
• Work collaboratively within an Agile Devops team to develop, test, and release user stories, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery
• Support day‑to‑day daily operations during weekdays, ensuring data systems run efficiently and issues are resolved promptly within SLA .
• Contribute ideas and collaborate closely with team members to improve data architecture, processes, and overall delivery.
• Involvement in requirements gathering, solution design, and data analysis to support data‑driven decision‑making .
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Information analysts, operations team & different teams in delivering the scalable product
