DevOps & Data Platform Operations Engineer
Summary
Maintains and troubleshoots Azure Databricks, CI/CD pipelines, and Power BI services, ensuring data workflows and dashboards stay operational.
Role Summary
An all-round platform operations role covering Azure Databricks, Azure services, data pipelines, CI/CD, and Power BI Service. The role resolves routine incidents and escalates complex code or business-logic issues with a clear technical diagnosis.
Core Accountabilities
Monitor pipelines, Databricks workflows, alerts, and Power BI refreshes; respond to failures and service interruptions.
Diagnose and resolve routine issues involving jobs, credentials, access, source files, refreshes, and platform configuration.
Own CI/CD, release coordination, environment promotion, rollback support, and production validation.
Administer approved Azure, Databricks, and Power BI access; execute controlled reruns, backfills, and minor fixes.
Maintain runbooks, incident records, escalation paths, and operational documentation.
Improve platform reliability, automation, monitoring coverage, and cost visibility.
Candidate Profile
Experience DevOps, cloud operations, data-platform operations, or analytics-platform support.
Working to hands-on knowledge of Azure Databricks operations, Git/CI/CD, Azure access controls, SQL, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
Basic to working Python/PySpark troubleshooting and working knowledge of Power BI Service administration.
Strong incident-management, documentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder-coordination skills.

Other Details:
Shift - Must be available in Morning
Hybrid Work Setup - Report to BGC office Monday and Tuesday.
Location is in BGC
The client prefers candidates who can start ASAP or 15 days upon selection
Employment Arrangement: Project Based ( 6 months initially - Subject for extension and renewal)
