DevOps Developer
Summary
Develops and maintains Azure-based automation solutions using IaC/CaC, designs Ansible playbooks, migrates from Chef to Ansible, and collaborates on DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and incident resolution in an Agile environment.
Here's a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you'll have:
- Develop and maintain automation solutions in Microsoft Azure by applying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) practices;
- Design and optimize Ansible playbooks to automate, orchestrate, and standardize technology environments;
- Participate in the migration of existing components from Chef to Ansible;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to realize and continuously improve technology solutions;
- Analyze incidents and problems, document findings and follow up in collaboration with the Product Owner and team members;
- Plan and progress jobs using Jira in an Agile environment;
- Perform code reviews and act as a technical reference for Ansible-related usage and best practices;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of deployment pipelines and DevOps processes.
The profile you are looking for is as follows:
- Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in automation and configuration management in enterprise environments;
- Master the Microsoft Azure cloud environment;
- Have expertise with Ansible for automation, orchestration, and configuration management;
- Be proficient in PowerShell, Bash, ARM, and/or Terraform;
- Know Linux server administration;
- Understand DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines;
- Have an intermediate level of English due to the nature of the tasks, the tools used or the interactions with partners and collaborators;
- Knowledge of Git, Kubernetes and/or AKS, Azure DevOps, Kafka, and Tomcat (an asset);
- Experience migrating or transforming configuration management solutions such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or equivalent technologies (an asset).
