Crossing Hurdles is hiring a remote DevOps Engineer ($70/hour) to design and manage scalable cloud and on-premises infrastructure, automate provisioning and deployments with IaC tools, maintain security and compliance, and support CI/CD pipelines. Core stack includes AWS/Azure/GCP, Terraform or Ansible, and Kubernetes/Docker.
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions.
- Monitor system and network performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure maximum uptime.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Implement and maintain robust security practices and compliance standards across environments.
- Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to support CI/CD pipelines and application deployments.
- Create comprehensive documentation and deliver clear, effective written and verbal communication to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Have expert-level experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Have a strong background in networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.
- Be proficient with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Have a deep understanding of containers and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Possess advanced troubleshooting and incident response capabilities.
