DevOps Engineer - AI Platforms (m/f/d)

Introduction

You’re building the platform where AI models run safely and reliably—from the data center to edge deployment.

Tasks

• You operate and automate cloud and on-premise infrastructure and implement Infrastructure as Code, for example Terraform, as well as scaling and performance optimizations.
• You build CI/CD pipelines for applications and services and integrate deployment workflows with GitOps.
• You ensure observability through logging, metrics and alerts and take on capacity planning as well as incident response for AI platforms.
• You implement security concepts, access management and secret handling such as RBAC and secrets management for platform services.
• You collaborate with MLOps and AI teams and provide robust runtime environments for model serving and data services.
• You harden platform components for hybrid, edge and air-gapped scenarios.

Qualifications

• You bring several years of experience in platform or DevOps roles and work confidently with cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code and automation.
• You have experience with observability stacks, logging, monitoring and incident management for production services such as Grafana.
• You are familiar with containerization and orchestration such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift or Helm charts as well as CI/CD tooling in GitLab and GitOps approaches, such as kustomize and ArgoCD.

• You possess a deep understanding of security best practices—specifically in access control, secrets management, and secure deployment workflows—and provide guidance to application teams.
• You are characterized by teamwork, communication skills, independence and personal responsibility as well as analytical thinking, thoroughness and a solution-oriented approach.
• Very good German skills and very good English skills (written and spoken) round off your profile.
