Contract (initial 6 months, daily rate, autónomo/self-employed) DevOps Engineer working 100% remote for a client in Barcelona through Exalto Consulting. Day to day: operating and automating large-scale AWS infrastructure (EKS, Fargate, Lambda, RDS), Kubernetes workloads and CI/CD pipelines, plus MongoDB tuning, AI/ML platform support and observability.

Exalto consulting are currently recruiting for a contract DevOps Engineer to work Remote for a client in Barcelona, this will be 100% remote working for a global organisation, this contract will be initially 6 months on a daily rate basis - Autónomo - self employed.
Skills and experience required for the role:
- 7+ years in DevOps, CloudOps, or SRE roles supporting large-scale SaaS or data-driven platforms.
- Deep operational experience with AWS (Fargate, EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail).
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and automation scripting (Python, Bash, TypeScript).
- Strong hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads .
- Working experience with AI/ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, Kubeflow, MLflow, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of MongoDB operations and performance optimization.
- Experience with observability and incident management (Splunk, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
