Our client is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer - Blockchain to join their dynamic team in Nelspruit. You will be responsible for building, automating, and managing the infrastructure that powers our blockchain solutions. This role involves ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our development, testing, and production environments. You will play a vital part in streamlining deployment processes and maintaining high availability for our cutting-edge Crypto & Blockchain applications, contributing to operational excellence in Nelspruit.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for blockchain applications and smart contracts.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Implement robust security practices for infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure seamless integration and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or system administration, with at least 2 years focused on blockchain infrastructure.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and infrastructure as code tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Understanding of blockchain networks, nodes, and deployment strategies.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring tools and performance optimization techniques.
