Devops Engineer
Summary
Hands-on DevOps engineer (2-4 years experience) for a client building a consumer stock-trading platform. Day to day: deploy and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS), run CI/CD pipelines, install and maintain on-prem Linux physical servers, automate with Terraform/Ansible, and set up monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery.
Client: A consumer-focused investment and stock-trading platform built primarily for young/first-time investors. It combines stock discovery, AI-powered insights, screeners, portfolio tools, IPO analysis, and simplified equity/F&O trading in a single platform.

We’re looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in both cloud infrastructure (AWS) and physical server management. You will be responsible for deploying and maintaining scalable systems, automating infrastructure, and managing deployments across on-premise and cloud platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and deploy cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, etc.)
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
- Install, configure, and maintain physical servers (Linux-based) in on-prem environments
- Handle network setup, firewall rules, and server monitoring
- Use tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Work with Docker and basic Kubernetes deployment setups
- Implement monitoring and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch(any one)
- Perform routine server maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting (disk, CPU, RAM, RAID)
- Ensure data backup, high availability, and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with developers to improve deployment workflows and resolve system issues
