Job Description
. We are seeking an experienced
DevOps & Automation Lead
to drive the design, implementation, and operationalization of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation solutions. . The successful candidate will lead the development of automation frameworks, manage DevOps platforms, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and infrastructure reliability. Key Responsibilities . Lead the design, implementation, and management of DevOps and automation solutions across non-production and production environments. . Manage the setup, configuration, and administration of automation platforms including Ansible, Terraform, Chef, and GitLab. . Gather automation requirements from operations teams and guide DevOps Engineers in developing automation playbooks following coding standards and best practices. . Develop, maintain, and deploy Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) playbooks to automate infrastructure provisioning and operational processes. . Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to support automated application and infrastructure deployments. . Perform code versioning, automated testing, and release management for automation solutions. . Manage automation deployments, migrations, and platform operations while ensuring SLA compliance. . Integrate automation solutions with ITSM and other enterprise tools where applicable. . Support pre-sales activities by designing automation and DevOps solutions for customers. . Mentor and lead DevOps Engineers, promoting automation best practices and continuous improvement. Required Qualifications . Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. . Minimum
6+ years
of experience in
Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) , DevOps, or automation engineering. . Strong hands-on experience with:
Ansible, Terraform, Chef, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines . Experience developing automation using:
Python, PowerShell , Bash, Groovy, JavaScript, Ruby (Chef) . Experience with code versioning and automated testing. Technical Skills . Strong knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles. . Experience with cloud-based DevOps environments is an advantage. . Strong Linux, Unix, and Windows administration skills. . Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. . Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MS SQL, and MySQL. . Knowledge of source code management and version control systems. . Familiarity with RPA playbook development is an added advantage. . Understanding of ITSM integrations and enterprise automation workflows. Preferred Attributes . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. . Passion for automation and continuous process improvement. . Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), networking, and infrastructure management. .
