Summary
Festo India is hiring a DevOps Engineer to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for dockerized applications, build deployment/testing pipelines for industrial edge devices, and set up monitoring, logging, and alerting. Core stack includes GitLab CI or Azure DevOps, Docker, Linux, Python/bash scripting, and Prometheus/Grafana.
Your job:
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for building and deploying (dockerized) applications along Festo’s CI/CD systems, guidelines and best practices
- Build up testing pipelines for deployment and testing on industrial communication hardware, e.g. edge devices
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for applications in Festo’s and customer’s environments
- Create dashboards to track system health and application performance
- Troubleshoot incidents and continuously improves system reliability and observability
- Enforce security and secure software supply chain practices
Your qualification:
- Degree in Computer science or similar proven experience
- Strong skills in CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- 6 – 8 years of experience with Docker and container-based development workflows
- Solid Linux and scripting knowledge (e.g. bash, python, …) for automation and troubleshooting
- Experience with cloud services such as Azure Container Registry/Services is a plus
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or others
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable DevOps pipelines and infrastructure
- Strong collaboration skills when working with development teams and experience working inter-disciplinary along distributed teams
