DevOps Engineer – Full-Time
Salary: $80,000 – $85,000 per year
About the role
Chandra IT Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and qualified DevOps Engineer to support the development, deployment, automation, and maintenance of software applications and cloud infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Automate application builds, testing, deployments, and infrastructure provisioning.
Configure, manage, and maintain cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent technologies.
Manage containerised applications using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
Administer Linux and Windows environments, including configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
Monitor system availability, performance, capacity, and security using appropriate monitoring and logging tools.
Investigate and resolve infrastructure issues, deployment failures, and production incidents.
Collaborate with software developers to improve deployment reliability and application performance.
Implement access controls, secrets management, and security checks throughout the software delivery process.
About you
Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
3 years of relevant professional experience.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
Practical experience with one or more cloud platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience with infrastructure as code, configuration management, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Sound knowledge of operating systems, networking, cloud security, and access management.
Experience with Git, monitoring tools, log analysis, and incident troubleshooting.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a collaborative technical environment.
