Oracle Healths Technology Consulting Development team is seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to help build, operate, and improve reliable infrastructure and delivery systems across both on-premises virtual-machine environments and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You’ll work with engineering, security, and operations teams to automate deployments, strengthen observability, and support resilient services at scale.

What you’ll bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Approximately 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, systems engineering, cloud operations, or a related technical role.
  • Working knowledge of Linux administration and virtual-machine environments.
  • Familiarity with at least one cloud platform; OCI experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience or exposure to CI/CD tools, source control, and automated deployment workflows.
  • Familiarity with scripting in Bash, Python, or a similar language.
  • Foundational understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
  • Exposure to container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Interest in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or OCI Resource Manager.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication.
Preferred qualifications
  • OCI Foundations, Associate, or comparable cloud certification.
  • Experience supporting hybrid environments spanning on-premises servers and public cloud services.
  • Familiarity with security practices for identity, secrets, patching, and least-privilege access.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as OCI Monitoring, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, or ELK.

What you’ll do

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure delivery.
  • Provision, configure, patch, and monitor on-premises virtual machines and OCI resources.
  • Automate repeatable infrastructure tasks using infrastructure-as-code and scripting.
  • Support OCI services such as Compute, Networking, IAM, Object Storage, Load Balancing, and Monitoring.
  • Help manage Linux-based server environments, including troubleshooting performance, availability, networking, and access issues.
  • Improve operational visibility through logging, metrics, alerts, and dashboards.
  • Partner with developers to improve deployment reliability, incident response, and service performance.
  • Follow Oracle security, compliance, change-management, and operational standards.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and contribute to post-incident learning and preventative improvements.

US: Hiring Range in USD from $25.48 to $63.65 per hour; from: $53,000 to $132,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.


Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
