DevOps Engineer
Summary
A DevOps Engineer owning CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), Terraform infrastructure-as-code, and AWS cloud infrastructure for a fast-scaling London company undergoing digital transformation. Day to day: build developer tooling, embed security practices aligned with ISO 27001, and troubleshoot infrastructure with engineering teams. Hybrid, 1-2 days on-site.
Salary: £85,000 - 110,000 per year
Requirements:
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally GitHub Actions
- Strong experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code
- Solid experience with AWS
- Experience building and maintaining developer tooling
- Strong security awareness, with familiarity with ISO 27001
- Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects end-to-end
- Good understanding of web fundamentals and cloud-native architecture
- Strong problem-solving skills, comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Manage and evolve infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Own and improve our AWS cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Build and maintain developer tooling to improve engineering velocity
- Embed security best practices, supporting alignment with ISO 27001
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues
- Contribute to architectural decisions around infrastructure and platform reliability
