Position Overview
Edgesource is seeking a mid-level DevOps Engineer (Linux) to support the design, development, configuration, operation, and maintenance of technical infrastructure. This position will contribute to system architecture and hosting solutions while supporting both cloud-based and bare-metal infrastructure environments.
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for configuring and maintaining Linux-based infrastructure and supporting ongoing operations and maintenance activities.
Job Duties
Support the design and development of system architecture and hosting environments.
Support the development and implementation of infrastructure solutions.
Configure and maintain Linux-based systems and infrastructure.
Support cloud-based infrastructure environments.
Support bare-metal infrastructure environments.
Perform ongoing operations and maintenance (O&M) activities.
Configure infrastructure to support system and program requirements.
Maintain the availability and operational readiness of supported infrastructure.
Identify and troubleshoot infrastructure and system configuration issues.
Support changes, upgrades, and modifications to hosting environments.
Coordinate infrastructure activities with technical and program stakeholders.
Maintain documentation associated with system configurations and infrastructure environments.
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI polygraph
5+ years of relevant Linux, infrastructure, systems engineering, or DevOps experience.
Experience supporting Linux-based infrastructure.
Experience configuring and maintaining technical infrastructure environments.
Experience supporting system architecture or hosting environments.
Experience supporting cloud infrastructure.
Experience supporting bare-metal infrastructure.
Experience performing infrastructure operations and maintenance (O&M).
Ability to troubleshoot Linux and infrastructure configuration issues.
