DevOps engineer who designs, builds, and operates a cloud-native platform on Microsoft Azure, giving development teams the infrastructure and self-service tools to deploy and run applications safely and reliably. What will your day look like?

In the role as our new DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, automating and operating a modern cloud-native platform on Microsoft Azure. Your job is to create the infrastructure, tools and processes that enable development teams to deploy and run applications safely, reliably and independently.

More specifically, your tasks include:

  • Designing, building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
  • Developing and managing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Creating reusable Terraform modules and supporting multiple environments, such as development, testing and production.
  • Deploying and operating Kubernetes platforms, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Managing the Kubernetes cluster lifecycle, including upgrades, monitoring, scaling, security and availability.
  • Supporting containerised applications and Kubernetes workloads.
  • Implementing and maintaining GitOps workflows using Flux CD.
  • Managing application and infrastructure deployments through Git repositories.
  • Building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Creating self-service capabilities that allow development teams to deploy applications more efficiently.
  • Collaborating with development teams to improve deployment processes and platform adoption.
  • Automating operational tasks and continuously improving platform reliability.
  • Supporting cloud governance, security, access management and cost optimisation practices.
  • Monitoring the platform and troubleshooting production incidents.
  • Performing root-cause analysis and helping prevent recurring issues.
  • Contributing to platform standards, technical documentation and engineering best practices.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
